BARILOCHE, ARGENTINA; FEBRUARY 6, 2016 - FEBRUARY 28, 2016
Spanish and Summertime in the Lake District of Southern Argentina
A new favorite of a lot of your fellow travelers, this educational adventure takes us into the "Lake Tahoe" of South America; spectacular Bariloche during the peak of its summertime glory. We will focus on conversational Spanish and the pure enjoyment of summertime in the mountains. You can search the world over and never find another destination like this, brimming with beauty, sunshine, wonderful recreational opportunities, packed with talented chefs, overflowing with wonderful wines, supermarket-sized chocolate shops, and home to some of the friendliest, most gracious and hospitable people we have ever met. After a night to gather in Buenos Aires, we will fly to Bariloche and unpack for weeks of one-on-one Spanish instruction, afternoons of your favorite activities (golfing, hiking, fishing, biking, plaza people watching) and evenings with a great series of programs designed to educate, fascinate, and confirm you have truly discovered "la buena vida"! Though you are in the midst of stunning mountain vistas...at 2,930 feet (893 meters) altitude is not a problem and temperatures are "perfecto". For those of you who have experienced Argentina with us before, you will be pleased to know that Martín Mantegini, ranked as one of the best wine experts in Argentina (and the most fun) will be joining us as again as we delve deeply into the wine and chocolate industries. You will be challenged and enthralled by this experience in such a beautiful area.
